System design

Systembild BXO Vidar The Vidar system is based on one or more RS-485 communication buses, which is a widely used standard for these kinds of system. This kind of bus is very robust and resists interference well. It's possible to achieve good functionality with cables well over one kilometre in length.

The Vidar bus uses the BXO Flex MultiDrop protocol, which is a self configuring protocol that makes installation and maintenance trivial. To the Vidar bus, you can connect a multitude of devices, such as I/O units, bed panels and radio receivers. There's also a combined room unit featuring a radio receiver, 4 software defined I/O's and an output for indicator lights. All of the radio receivers in a system cooperate to provide perfect radio coverage all over the site, often with a margin of several hundred percent!

Easy to install

1. Connect the bus and power (4 wires)
2. Enter the name or number of the room on the PC
3. There is no step 3.

To realize more elaborate functionality, a drag and drop interface is used.
