Åkers Sweden, part of the Åkers group which manufacture steel rolls, has chosen BXO's mobile alarm solution. The solution is supplied via our retailer Spring Mobil, as a component of their unique telephony solution, where a GSM-network is built on the customer's premises.
All employees of Åkers Sweden with a phone extension will now get a mobile phone instead. Any faults or errors in machines will be reported to these phones in real time, making production more efficient and improving the availability of co-workers.
Previously, Åkers Sweden have monitored the operations and disturbances in the production using a PC which had to be constantly manned. With BXO's alarm solution, this information is instantly available on the mobile phones.
