The foundation Stora Sköndal has opted for BXO's mobile alarm management. The solution is delivered by Telenor.
BXO has recently signed an agremmenet with Telenor regarding BXO's mobile alarm management solutions. The first delivery will be to the Stora Sköndal foundation, where the BXO reseller Telenta will install the local nurse call system and Telenor will deliver the alarm management services over the GSM/3G network. Two sites will be installed during the second and third quarters of 2008.
The solutions are tailored to the requirements within the aged care field. Instead of corridor displays, staff will have the option to rely solely on mobile phones. The advantages include protection of privacy - instead of showing the alarms to everyone, only the staff will be alerted. It is also possible to see which staff has responded to an alarm. It is also possible to eliminate disturbing alarm noise, like constantly beeping corridor displays, which makes the nursing home a better place to live or work at.
