Indoor positioning using existing infrastructure

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲

With 𝗕𝗫𝗢 𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗣𝗦, indoor positioning can be implemented as an integrated part of a facility’s fixed infrastructure – including by upgrading existing leaky feeder cable systems.

In collaboration with 𝗘𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗕, we combine:

🔹 Leaky feeder cable 🔹 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿-𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘅 🔹 Powered 𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀 🔹 𝗕𝗫𝗢 𝗟𝗔𝗦 as the platform for positioning, alarms and event management

This creates clearly defined positioning zones along the entire cable route. The same coaxial cable can carry both radio signals and power, reducing the need for separate cabling, battery-powered equipment and recurring battery replacements.

By reusing existing infrastructure, both current and new customers can introduce indoor positioning in a 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 and 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

The solution can operate 𝗼𝗻-𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 and in local standalone mode, independently of external connectivity. This makes it particularly suitable for industry, critical infrastructure and other environments where communications must continue to function even when external connections do not.
